A prime example of our commitment to quality and customer service, is our new state of the art Spindle Rebuild Room. This facility allows us to test the roundness and tolerances of machine spindles, using computerized measuring equipment to produce highly accurate readings of the surface roundness along the spindle axis.
We provide a spindle repair service which we believe is the most comprehensive in Australia. The spindle is the core assembly of most machine tools, and requires the utmost care in its repair. A thorough spindle repair involves more than changing a set of bearings. We have built our own Class 350 clean room to prohibit contamination of precision components within the spindle.
We offer a repair service on the following types of spindles-
CNC lathe and CNC machining centre spindles.
Conventional lathe and milling machine spindles.
Cylindrical grinding workheads, wheelheads, and internal quills.
Surface grinding spindles.
Rotary live tooling for lathes.

All sensitive assembly work is carried out in our class 350 clean room. Our own quality assurance procedures ensure that you have a reliable, accurate, and long lasting spindle.
All critical parts are checked for geometric accuracy, and any signs of fretting or
corrosion which may require repair.
Most spindles are "run in" at our workshop to ensure there are no overheating or
preloading problems.
All machining centre spindles have their clamp force checked,
(pull stud retention force) to ensure they are within the manufacturers specifications.
Most spindles are supplied with a test certificate stating
The running accuracy.
The maximum temperature reached during running in.
The length of time they were run in.
Other data which may be required, such as tool clamp force or axial play.
We give a minimum of three months guarantee with all spindles and supply a brochure explaining how to care for, and maintain your spindle to ensure a maximum performance.
